Our Story

People often ask, “How did you come up with the name 3Fat Husbands?” We're glad you asked!

Back in 2015, I shared with a group of friends that I dreamed of leaving my desk job to start a homemade cookie business. One of the husbands in the group enthusiastically volunteered himself—and the other husbands—as taste testers. Jokingly, he told the wives they’d better be okay with ending up with three fat husbands. The name stuck with me, but it wasn’t until my own husband suggested making cookies—each one named after a "Fat Husband"—that everything clicked.

In 2016, 3Fat Husbands® was born. After several years of balancing baking with a full-time job, I took the leap in 2020 and left my desk job to pursue my passion full time. What began as an online-only business has grown steadily, with nationwide shipping still available for all orders.

In 2022, I officially registered 3Fat Husbands® as a trademark, and in 2024, we took the business on the road with our very own food trailer.
